The Governance Committee meets “as needed”. The Governance Committee is responsible for the following:

Develop and implement Board orientation program for new Board members.
Serves as the nominating committee for Board officers. Nominations to be presented by November 15.
Manage the process for the annual Superintendent evaluation.
Manage the process for the annual Board self-evaluation.
Prepare and present an annual Governance calendar.

Information

Meeting Locations

The Board and most Committee meetings take place in the District's Administrative Offices, 540 Trestle Place in Downingtown.

Finance - 1st Wednesday of month from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m.
Monthly Board Meeting - 2nd Wednesday of month at 7:00 p.m.
Facilities - 4th Wednesday of month at 6:00 p.m.
Policy - As needed, will meet on 4th Wednesday of month at 7:30 p.m.

Please Note: Facilities meetings take place in our schools and rotate alphabetically. Please refer to the district calendar or Facilities Committee website page for specific location. Please check the Policy Committee page for meeting dates.
