|Wellness Tip of the Week|
Eating 6 small meals per day instead of 3 larger meals helps to increase your metabolism, which will lead to burning more calories. Be sure to emphasize protein source along with fruits and vegetables rather than carbohydrates in these meals.
We Are committed to meeting your children's health needs while they are at school. We will assess and treat your child for illnesses and injuries that occur during the school day. We may also assist you in determining whether your child is well enough for a school day; please give us a call to discuss your child's symptoms and/or health concern. We do recommend that a child stay home for a temperature of 100 degrees or above (until fever-free for 24 hours without the use of Tylenol or Ibuprofen), vomiting, diarrhea, persistent cough, or communicable disease. Prescription and over-the-counter medications may be administered, if needed, with orders from your physician along with a parent signature. It is very important for parents/guardians to update us with your current contact information, so that we are aware of new phone numbers that will allow us to reach you as quickly as possible in the event of an emergency. Please take a few minutes to review the website so that you are aware of medical forms you may access when needed and check out additional websites that provide health information.
